SOCCER AGE DIVISIONS

A player's age for the Fall Soccer Season is determined by their age on July 31st (shortly before the season starts).  For example, if a player was born on August 10,1999 they will be 9 years old on July 31, 2009 and thus would be considered a 9 year old for the Fall 2009 season.

The youngest players we can accept are players who turned 4 years old the previous calendar year.  Thus for the 2009 season, the youngest player we can accept would have been born on 12/31/2004.

Our bylaws permit for players who miss a cutoff to "play up" a division if their birth date is within 3 months of the cutoff date and playing up would keep them with their classmates. Requests to play up must be made in writing on the registration form or by email to the league president.

The specific divisions we have each year is determined by our registration numbers.  The divisions for the past few years were:

U6 - boys & girls coed, ages 4 or 5 (must meet min. age requirement)

U8 boys - age 6 or 7 boys

U8 girls - age 6 or 7 girls

U10 boys - age 8 or 9 boys

U10 girls - age 8 or 9 girls

U13 boys - age 10, 11 or 12 boys

U14 girls - age 10, 11, 12 or 13 girls

For 2009 we will also field a U14 or U15 coed team in a local friendship league.
