Flashes Go Undefeated and are Champions in the 2009 Pemberton Ft. Dix
Columbus Weekend Soccer Tournament
The Florence Flashes United U12 girls' travel soccer team went
undefeated and came in first place in the Pemberton Ft. Dix Columbus
Weekend Soccer Tournament with a record of 2-0-1. They defeated the
Cinnaminson Spirit 1-0 and the Lumberton Stampede 3-1, and they tied the
Berlin Firecrackers 3-3. Members of the Flashes United are, in the front
row (left to right): Melanie Nutter, Taylor Reeder, Karlie Carmignani,
Olivia Greenberg, Jillian Marbach and Jenna DeWitt. In the second row:
Sophia Pastore, Angelina Murtaugh, Nicole Perri, Savana Karwowski, Erin
McCue, Alyssa Potts and Isabella Romano. In the back row: Coaches Joe
Romano, Greg Perri, Jr. and Tom McCue. Missing are Alexis Goeke, Dakota
Moonan and Coach/Youth Trainer Lorraine Perri. The coaches' are proud
of the girls' achievements and dedication, and would also like to thank
the parents and family members for all of their support.
