The Florence Tide U-11 finished the Spring SJGSL season with a record of 5-1-3 and are conference champions for the third straight season.

The Florence Tide defeated the previously unbeaten Waterford Wildcats,
1-0. The Tide played solid throughout as they battled for a
hard fought, exciting victory. Alexandria "Alex"
Fantozzi scored off of an assist by Cayla Bercaw and Kelli
Michalski. Goalies recording the Tide's second shut out were
Amanda Lutz and Cayla Bercaw. The Tide's record is now 2-1-1.

The Florence Tide again defeated a previously unbeaten team as they outscored the Haddonfield Bulldawgs, 4-2. The Tide displayed a balanced attack with Cayla Bercaw scoring two goals off of assists by Amanda Lutz and Taylor Bintliff-Green. Cori-Lynn Cubberley scored assisted by Alexandria "Alex" Fantozzi, and Stephanie Wood scored assisted by Cori-Lynn Cubberley. The Tide's record is 3-1-1. | |

The Florence Tide U-11 Girls Soccer Team in the SJGSL are now 4-1-1 as
they have won their fourth game in a row by defeating the Egg Harbor
Comets 1-0. The Tide avenged their only loss of the season by
playing a solid game throughout. Stephanie Wood scored the lone
goal with less than five minutes remaining in the game.
Stephanie intercepted the Comet's goal kick and blasted the
game winner about 15 yards out. The offense displayed a balanced
attack, however they missed some good opportunities. Besides
Stephanie Wood, the offense included Cayla Bercaw, Kelli
Michalski, Amanda "Mandee" Barone, Alexandria
"Alex" Fantozzi, Jean Oros, Amanda Lutz and Lorraine Perri.
The defense played flawless only allowing four shots on goal.
The defense included Taylor Bintliff-Green, Angela Federico,
Marissa Siwak, Cori-Lynn Cubberley, Angela Holowka, Krista
Brandle, and Kelsey Kapica. Goalies Amanda Lutz and Cayla
Bercaw recorded the Tide's third shutout of the season.

Highland Panthers 1 |
The Florence Tide are now 4-1-2 as they tied the Highland
Panthers 1-1. The Tide were shocked early as Highland scored the
first goal 15 seconds into the game. However, the Tide
defense stiffened thereafter not allowing another shot on goal for
the remainder of the game. For the most part, the Tide controlled the
game having numerous scoring opportunities but they could only score
one goal. Marissa Siwak scored for the Tide with a beautiful
shot 16 yards out, high in the corner of the goal. Marissa's
goal was assisted by Kelsey Kapica. Goalies for the Tide were
Amanda Lutz and Krista Brandle.

The Florence Tide are now 4-1-3 as they tied the Atlantic United Authority 1-1. It was a hard fought battle with the Tide scoring first late in the first half. Cori-Lynn Cubberley scored off of an assist by Lorraine Perri as she put a through-ball to Alex Fantozzi who passed the ball to Krista Brandle who then made a strong pass to Cori-Lynn for the tally. It appeared the Tide would walk away with the victory but the Authority rebounded with the equalizer with less than ten minutes remaining in the game. Goalies for the Tide were Amanda Lutz and Cayla Bercaw. | |

The Florence Tide U-11 Girls Spring Travel Soccer Team in the SJGSL have
won their third straight conference championship by defeating the
Waterford Wildcats 1 - 0. It was a hard fought victory
with the Tide scoring late in the first half as Stephanie Wood
scored off of an assist by Marissa Siwak and Alyssa Mitchell. It
was a total team effort as the Tide displayed a strong defense, led by
Cayla Bercaw in goal, by recording their fourth shutout of the season and
they ended with a final record of 5 - 1 - 3. Coaches
Steve Cubberley, Barry Oros, George Michalski, and Greg Perri are
proud of the girls' achievements and dedication, and would also like
to thank the parents and family members for all of their support.
The Tide are made up of Taylor Bintliff-Green, Cori-Lynn Cubberley,
Angela Federico, Angela Holowka, Alexandria "Alex" Fantozzi,
