FLORENCE TIDE U-11 GIRLS TRAVEL SOCCER TEAM

Florence Tide are Champs Again!

The Florence Tide U-11 girls Fall travel soccer team in the SJGSL have completed another successful season by going undefeated (8-0-1) and winning the Far West Division.  What an inaugural year it has been for the Tide.  They entered the 2002 campaign with their first taste in travel soccer by going undefeated (8-0-2) and winning the U-10 division in the Spring.  In the Fall, the Tide moved up in age group as well as in divisional play, and they still continued their winning ways.  It was a total team effort.  In the Fall the Tide scored 39 goals and allowed only five goals while recording five shutouts.   Most recently, the Tide finished in second place at the 22nd Annual Steven C. Lamont Memorial Thanksgiving Cinnaminson Tournament.  In the tournament, the Tide played higher ranked teams in the state and almost walked away with first place.  This Winter, the Tide are continuing their winning ways as they are currently in first place in Sports World @ Hamilton's Indoor Soccer U-12 Division.  Coaches Steve Cubberley, Barry Oros, George Michalski, and Greg Perri Jr. would like to thank the girls for another successful season, and also would like to thank the parents for their support and dedication.
